Wenzhou international exhibition center is one of the 10 landmark buildings in Wenzhou city. It is proposed in year 1999 by Wenzhou municipal government with the purpose of speeding up urban construction, improving trading environment, strengthening urban culture and up-raising city taste. It is located in the north part of the cross road between Jiangbin east road and Tangjia bridge road with a planning building area of 34 hectares. Under construction on 15th, July, 2001, by the joint effort of all sectors of the community, one magnificent building---Wenzhou international exhibition center is born in just one year’s project time. Having simple and concise style, with a sense of time, the style of this grand building is like a giant yacht that coming across winds and waves. This center is arranged into exhibition hall, meetings center, hotels etc. from east to west by its different functions. It has three floors with total 1,100 international standard booths. Presently, the multi-functional hall in the west part of the third floor of the exhibition center is the largest multi-functional hall in China. It can accommodate 1,500people for meeting and 800people for banquet. With an inverted cone-shaped meeting center breaking through the roof, a big platform and a tower of time, a “chamber with no cap” is formed. The meeting center has 5 floors; the unique luminous multi-functional hall in the top-floor enables you to enjoy the beauty of the moonlight sky when meeting in the night. Standing on the big platform, the beauty of the OU River can be full viewed. The west part of the hotel is a comfortable stay for exhibitors. This exhibition center also invested more than 30 million RMB to equip informative, multimedia net technology and facilities. Each booth can access the nearest cable net that able to meet the technical needs of the international exhibition.
